Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on a full‑time hybrid basis. You will work alongside senior engineers to tackle real security challenges across diverse client environments, from deploying solutions to responding to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain security solutions such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, IPS/IDS and EDR.
• Monitor security events, investigate alerts and escalate incidents.
• Support risk assessments, gap analyses and compliance reviews.
• Assist in defining and implementing security policies and technical controls.
• Participate in proof‑of‑concept processes and solution evaluations.
• Produce technical documentation, including configuration guides and post‑incident reports.
• Engage with clients on technical matters and present findings clearly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on cyber security experience.
• Strong analytical ability to read logs, alerts and network traffic.
• Excellent written communication in English (and optionally Hebrew).
• Good interpersonal skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• NGFW, WAF, SIEM, IPS/IDS, EDR, VPN.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, Routing.
• Identity systems: Active Directory, LDAP, MFA.
• Hands‑on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, Forescout, ClearPass, Juniper.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Penetration testing or vulnerability assessment experience.
• SOAR/SIEM tuning and use‑case design.
• Knowledge of OT/ICS environments.
