Controller

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Controller to own the company’s accounting function and drive financial process improvements. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and compliance while collaborating with R&D, Operations, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings under US GAAP.
• Prepare the annual budget, ongoing forecasts, and track budget performance across departments.
• Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, long‑term modelling, and cash‑flow planning.
• Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes, internal controls, and workflows.
• Coordinate tax reporting, statutory compliance, and external audit activities.
• Supervise payroll, employee benefits, and social provisions accounting.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and customized reports for executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a BA in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into financial workflows and analytics.
