Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

GlassesUSA.com, a leading direct‑to‑consumer eyewear retailer, is expanding its finance team and seeks a Controller to oversee month‑end close, revenue recognition and tax reporting for the company and its subsidiaries in Israel and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month‑end close cycle, reviewing balance‑sheet and P&L accounts and performing analytical reviews.
• Support consolidated closing under US GAAP and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Analyze complex revenue recognition and maintain the company’s sales‑tax policy, analysis and reporting.
• Oversee the full accruals cycle for the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Assist with annual Israeli and US tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide guidance to bookkeeping staff and collaborate with the Director of Finance on reporting.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate financial representation and conduct ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum 2 years of finance experience in a high‑tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of US and Israeli GAAP.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with the Priority ERP system (a plus).
