Chip Architect – Network Adapter

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a motivated Chip Architect to lead the design of the ConnectX network adapter. You will translate market requirements into a complete chip architecture, guiding the product through all lifecycle stages from concept to post‑silicon deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end network adapter chip architecture based on market and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with physical design, logic design, system software, firmware, and application teams.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts and advance development projects.
• Conduct research and analysis for current and future architectures.
• Create detailed product design specifications and act as the central knowledge hub within the organization.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in chip architecture or system integration.
• Deep understanding of computing and networking systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for design quality and detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, able to learn complex concepts quickly.
