Application Engineer – Networking Solutions (Product Team)

About the role

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join the Product Team, with a focus on advanced communication solutions for the aerospace, defense, and rugged systems industries. This role is ideal for engineers who are interested in developing into customer‑facing technical experts and combines hands‑on technical work, customer interaction, and exposure to real‑world system applications.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of technical proposals (RFIs / RFPs / RFQs) and compliance matrices.
• Write and maintain product datasheets and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Sales and R&D teams to define solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand their requirements.
• Provide technical support during pre‑sales activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Configuration Management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support global customers, including occasional work outside regular business hours.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, Switching, IP fundamentals).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• High motivation to develop in a technical, customer‑facing role.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
