Backend Software Engineer

About the role

AppsFlyer’s Data Services group is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to develop and scale next‑generation data export solutions and enhance the AI Assistant backend.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale backend data export services and pipelines, integrating with third‑party vendors and data stores such as S3, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Develop and evolve the AI Assistant backend, including agent orchestration, tool integrations over MCP, and secure human‑in‑the‑loop actions on customer data.
• Own end‑to‑end product development from design through production, ensuring reliable, efficient, and secure processing of massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver customer value and continuously evaluate new technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data warehouses (S3, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
