Area Sales Manager

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Area Sales Manager in Tel Aviv. The role provides the key client relationship to a major client or clients, grows revenue by leveraging the full IQVIA portfolio and identifies new business opportunities. It also coordinates the sales, business and service lines at a regional level to meet client needs and IQVIA revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quarterly and full-year revenue targets are met in assigned accounts or sales territory
• Take a proactive role in contract strategy and help expand the scope of existing contracts and identify new business and win-back opportunities
• Lead contract renewals negotiations where required
• Build relationships with key executives and decision-makers and manage the overall relationship to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Coordinate IQVIA resources (marketing, sales specialists, consulting and client service) to promote the full portfolio and meet client needs
• Maximise sales using sales and marketing materials, databases and technologies, execute account plans and adjust them to new products and business changes
• Lead a team of sales representatives responsible for physician education and product promotion, set expectations, coach the team, allocate resources and ensure compliance standards
• Manage business development and revenue within the territory, build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and report to the IQVIA project leader

Required profile

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record of achieving individual performance objectives
• University degree in a scientific discipline, per local legislation
• Hebrew and English required; Arabic required depending on the region
