Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to own and evolve the infrastructure and software stack that controls Android devices. The platform combines Python, Linux, and direct Android interfaces such as ADB, and you will work across the full stack from device control to backend services and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the existing Python‑Linux system that manages Android devices.
• Design and implement new features as the platform evolves.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to understand end‑to‑end workflows, from devices to databases and infrastructure.
• Debug and resolve issues across multiple layers, including device, backend, and CI/CD.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development and Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Android devices, ADB, and the Android ecosystem.
• Good understanding of Java and mobile development concepts.
• Experience with databases, backend services/APIs, Git, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work across an existing codebase, design new components, and learn unfamiliar technologies.
