AI Engineering Manager – Lead Gen AI Teams

About the role

SD Solutions is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead two Gen AI teams within the Apps Engineering Group for a leading AdTech client. Based in Tel Aviv, you will drive the development of next‑generation conversational agents that integrate across the company’s platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow two Gen AI teams delivering conversational agents.
• Define and manage team roadmaps, ensuring timely execution of software projects.
• Design and implement AI‑driven solutions to enhance platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and business operations to align goals.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of conversational agents, from concept to production deployment.
• Research advanced AI technologies and integrate external APIs and services.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• 6+ years building customer‑facing full‑stack applications.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of large language model concepts, prompting and reasoning.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Python (minimum 2 years hands‑on).
• SQL and NoSQL database proficiency.
• Node.js, preferably with Nest.js framework.
• Experience with Langchain or Langraph (advantage).
