AI Engineering Manager (Infrastructure and Security Team)

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring an AI Engineering Manager for its Infrastructure and Security team, working remotely with an option to join from the Tel Aviv office. The role leads technical delivery of enterprise AI solutions, embeds security by design and builds a premier AI engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Run agile delivery teams to unify and scale AI efforts, delivering a portfolio of enterprise AI solutions.
• Integrate automated security controls into the AI ecosystem (CI/CD pipelines, sensitive-data classification, identities).
• Turn business challenges into actionable technical strategies with clear returns and minimal delay.
• Help define the enterprise AI architecture through a roadmap, framework selection and reusable development patterns.
• Cultivate a distributed AI engineering team aligned for around-the-clock delivery.
• Act as spokesperson for the IT Generative AI enterprise program with internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• 10+ years in software engineering or IT, including senior leadership of AI/ML or digital-transformation portfolios.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Record of leading teams in regulated or security-conscious environments and implementing governance frameworks such as "Governance as Code".
• Servant-leader style, able to influence C-suite partners and empower agile teams.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of modern AI stacks (Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, vector databases) and MLOps ecosystems.
• Familiarity with security-automation tools for code scanning, vulnerability management and data classification.
• Preferred: experience scaling AI globally, partnerships with hyperscalers or AI startups, public speaking and conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
