Shipping Clerk – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Vishay is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join its Migdal Ha'emek facility. You will play a key part in ensuring that packaged materials are prepared, inspected and shipped accurately to meet customer demands.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect packaged material destined for shipment.
• Scan and verify batches, carts and pallets in the information system.
• Prepare shipments according to customer orders, work instructions and packaging requirements.
• Perform batch packaging, vacuum packaging, palletizing and specialized packaging as needed.
• Accurately label and identify packages and pallets.
• Handle urgent batches and prioritize shipments.
• Coordinate with Taping, Reel Inspection and QA departments to resolve problematic batches.
• Maintain order, cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Required profile

• At least 12 years of formal schooling.
• Good command of Hebrew and ability to read basic shipping documents in English.
• Strong organizational skills, precision and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with AS-400.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
