Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

A leading global company is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join its Supply Chain team. You will lead demand planning and material planning activities across a complex multidisciplinary hardware environment, ensuring material availability to support business growth and customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve demand forecasts using sales data, historical consumption and product lifecycle information.
• Lead MRP planning, providing accurate purchasing and production recommendations.
• Manage material planning for a diverse portfolio of products, assemblies and components, ensuring readiness for subcontractor manufacturing.
• Optimize inventory levels while balancing customer demand, lead times and business objectives.
• Analyze planning data, identify supply‑chain risks and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing and global stakeholders.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and leverage AI‑based tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply‑chain, production or material planning within a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with demand forecasting and MRP processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, BOM structures and ECO processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a fast‑growing global environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SAP S4/HANA – MM and PP modules.
• AI‑based forecasting and planning tools.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
• Familiarity with Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
