Material Planner

About the role

KLA is seeking a Material Planner to support the manufacturing of semiconductor and electronic devices. The role focuses on analyzing demand, managing inventory, and ensuring timely material availability for product builds.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze build plans against inventory and supply chain data to determine material demand and generate MRP requirements.
• Monitor and control material availability to support on‑time product builds.
• Drive material flow from strategic forecasting through tool shipment.
• Plan production orders considering product demand, material availability, and production capacity.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.
• Analyze supply and demand trends and generate reports to support business decisions.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field, or a B.A. with at least 2 years of planning experience.
• High proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated and capable of independently driving challenging tasks to completion.
