Sales & Business Development Manager

About the role

Kela, a defense technology startup, is looking for an International Sales & Business Development Manager to expand its global footprint. You will promote cutting‑edge command and control solutions, build strategic relationships with key decision‑makers, and drive revenue growth across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive global business development initiatives for Kela’s products and technological solutions.
• Act as primary Account and Territory Manager for designated regions, mastering local market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long‑term partnership.
• Lead complex tender processes, managing RFI, RFP, and RFQ submissions.
• Coordinate and deliver professional product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Represent Kela at major international industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven sales or business development experience with technological solutions in the defense industry.
• 5+ years of successful international sales experience.
• Deep regional expertise and cultural intelligence for target markets.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
• Fluent or native‑level English with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; additional languages are a strong advantage.
• Self‑starter with a strategic mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
