Quality Superintendent

About the role

EverOn is seeking a Quality Superintendent to lead field quality activities for data‑center construction projects. The role ensures that all civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls and life‑safety installations meet project specifications, client requirements and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of QA/QC activities across assigned scopes, verifying compliance with drawings, specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct field inspections, audits and quality assessments for civil, structural, architectural, MEP and life‑safety systems.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports, punch‑list items and deficiency logs, and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Coordinate with construction, MEP and commissioning teams to embed quality requirements into daily operations.
• Support commissioning readiness by confirming systems are inspected, documented and complete prior to testing.
• Review inspection reports, test records, checklists and turnover documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, root‑cause investigations and quality metric reporting.
• Mentor QA/QC engineers, coordinators and field personnel to promote a zero‑defect culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8 years of experience in construction, QA/QC, commissioning or related technical disciplines, preferably in mission‑critical or hyperscale data‑center projects.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes, integrated systems testing and turnover requirements.
• Industry certifications such as CQM, CQM‑C, OSHA or ASQ are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of QA/QC principles, inspection procedures and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls and life‑safety building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, CxAlloy, BIM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
