Materials Planner

About the role

Nova is looking for a Materials Planner to join its Operations organization. In this role you will translate demand and production plans into actionable material plans, ensuring smooth material availability and high service levels for a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own weekly material availability commitments, on‑time delivery targets and proactive shortage resolution.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and support excess/obsolete inventory reduction initiatives.
• Convert demand and production schedules into execution‑level material plans, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor supply status, generate planning and delivery reports, lead weekly planning meetings and close action items promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data quality, reporting, systems and inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in material or logistics planning within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Warehouses).
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP.
