Junior Script Writer / Copywriter (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Script Writer / Copywriter to join a pool of Non‑Key Experts supporting a EU communication outreach project across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is short‑term and on‑demand, focusing on creating compelling content that enhances the visibility of EU policies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft engaging content for websites, newsletters, articles, press releases and social media.
• Write scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews and other audio‑visual products.
• Develop campaign messages and storytelling tailored to diverse audiences and channels.
• Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with communication specialists, graphic designers and AV teams to produce integrated outputs.
• Adapt content for digital platforms while complying with EU editorial guidelines.
• Support the preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages and promotional materials.
• Contribute to the design and execution of communication campaigns and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication, languages or a related field.
• Excellent written English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of general experience in copywriting or journalistic writing.
• At least 1 year of specific experience drafting communication content such as articles, scripts or social posts.
