Creative Social Media Manager

About the role

Applift is bringing social media in‑house for the first time and needs a creative professional who can turn ideas into engaging organic content. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead to tell the company’s story across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, while also exploring new channels such as TikTok and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Create, film and edit talking‑head and short‑form videos that showcase industry insights, company wins and office culture.
• Turn industry insights into visual content and motion graphics, and write scripts, reels, carousels and stories.
• Develop content concepts, hooks, formats and recurring series, collaborating with designers when needed.
• Manage the monthly content calendar from idea to publish and maintain a consistent publishing cadence.
• Engage with the audience, monitor trends, competitors and performance metrics, and iterate on formats.
• Help expand Applift’s presence into TikTok, YouTube and other emerging platforms.

Required profile

• Native‑level English (written and spoken) with strong storytelling abilities.
• Hands‑on experience filming and editing video content.
• Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered media and content‑creation tools.
• Comfortable creating or collaborating on motion graphics and appearing on camera when required.
• Organised enough to turn creative ideas into a consistent content operation and a portfolio that demonstrates video, writing or social‑media work.
