FP&A Analyst

About the role

Papaya Global is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join its fast‑growing finance team. In this position you will support financial planning across multiple business units, build and maintain complex models, and drive data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across business units.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve complex financial models for planning and decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and executive‑level presentations.
• Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast performance, identify variances, and deliver actionable insights.
• Partner with business and department leaders to align headcount, operating expenses, and strategic initiatives with financial targets.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes through automation, data‑quality enhancements, and AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role within a high‑growth technology or fintech organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail and data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FP&A platforms (e.g., Abacum or similar).
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite.
• Strong proficiency with Tableau or other BI tools.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience applying AI tools in finance workflows for automation, data validation, and forecasting improvements.
