Finance Business Partner Team Lead

About the role

Cognyte is seeking a motivated Finance Business Partner Team Lead to head a small, high‑impact FP&A team that works closely with Product and R&D. The role blends classic FP&A ownership with deep business partnership, requiring the ability to understand, analyse, and clearly articulate the full financial story of complex product organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team, ensuring high‑quality financial deliverables and strong business partnership.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to Product and R&D leaders, with deep understanding of full P&L and other key business drivers.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning for the Product business units.
• Monitor performance versus plan, drive variance analysis, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Translate financial data into clear insights and a compelling business story for management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance experience, including solid hands‑on FP&A work.
• 2+ years of finance team management, preferably leading an FP&A team.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
• AI‑mindset – proactively seeks AI‑driven process improvements while maintaining data integrity.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
