Data Analyst – Business Intelligence & AI Automation

About the role

Nift is scaling its performance‑marketing platform and needs a Data Analyst to turn large‑scale marketplace data into actionable insights. You will act as the primary data partner for Account Managers while also driving proactive business intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main data point‑of‑contact for Account Managers, diagnosing performance issues and recommending clear actions.
• Identify patterns in supply, demand and brand performance and surface findings that influence company strategy.
• Build and automate data pipelines, classification models, and tagging systems to improve long‑term scalability.
• Develop bots or lightweight tools (e.g., Slack, email) that automate repetitive workflows and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience working with data at scale.
• Strong business intuition with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with Account Managers and clients.

Required skills

• SQL – expert level for navigating complex datasets.
• Python – preferred for automation and building lightweight tools.
• Familiarity with recommendation‑system concepts (selection bias, cold start, feedback loops).
