Edge‑AI Verification Lead

About the role

Join a team that creates custom silicon solutions powering Google’s direct‑to‑consumer products. You will shape the next generation of edge‑AI hardware, driving distributed inference technology for real‑time, low‑latency systems where reliability is critical.

Key responsibilities

• Lead verification of edge‑AI IP used in Google edge‑AI products.
• Manage a team of chip verification engineers: plan tasks, allocate resources, conduct design/code reviews, and drive execution.
• Plan verification of digital design blocks, author test plans and related verification documentation.
• Develop verification features and capabilities in code and participate in RTL debugging.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Software, Design, and Physical Design stakeholders to make technical decisions and report project status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience with hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog/Specman), UVM methodology, and chip design flow.
• Proven experience leading chip verification teams from concept through delivery.
• Experience creating verification strategies and plans for chips or subsystems.
• Preferred: 15+ years verifying complex SoC/ASIC designs and 8+ years managing verification teams.
• Preferred: Experience with ISP designs, AI/ML logic verification, low‑power verification, formal verification, and emulation.
