About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a hands‑on System Integration Engineer to calibrate, test and ship complex multi‑disciplinary tools from our Rehovot facility. You will work in a clean‑room environment on cutting‑edge equipment that combines mechanics, optics, electronics and motion control.
Key responsibilities
- Receive fully assembled tools and perform end‑to‑end system integration, calibration and testing.
- Troubleshoot and investigate issues, propose engineering solutions, and ensure readiness for customer shipment.
- Lead R&D prototypes and new product introductions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Required profile
- BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1‑3 years of technical experience, preferably in system integration or high‑complexity projects.
- Ability to work independently, be proactive and handle up to 10% travel.
Required skills
- System integration and calibration of multi‑disciplinary equipment.
- Knowledge of precise mechanics, optics, lasers, RF, motion control and EBeam microscopy.
- Experience working in clean‑room environments.
