Sales & Marketing Officer – Field-Based Roofing

About the role

City Roofing and Planning is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to drive business growth on construction sites. The role is field‑based, requiring regular visits to residential, commercial and infrastructure projects to generate new roofing contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect on‑site at active building and construction locations to identify potential clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, contractors, developers and foremen, ensuring diligent follow‑ups.
• Identify emerging market segments and upcoming structural projects to expand the company’s portfolio.
• Present technical specifications, quality, durability and cost benefits of roofing products to prospects.
• Coordinate with technical and installation teams to provide accurate structural quotes and ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of proven experience as a marketer within the roofing or construction industry.
• Diploma or professional certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Building Technology or a related field.
• Highly self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong professional discipline, integrity and a persistent “can‑do” attitude.
• Exceptional verbal communication, negotiation and persuasive skills.
