Robotic Start‑up Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Robotic Start‑up Specialist to lead the integration of the HUGO™ robotic assisted surgery system into hospitals across Israel. You will work closely with surgeons, staff, and stakeholders to launch new or expanded robotic surgery programs.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with program stakeholders to define goals and metrics for the HUGO™ system.
• Develop and coordinate surgeon and staff training plans, including off‑site sessions and proctored cases.
• Support technology adoption by attending cases during learning sessions and using change‑management techniques.
• Coach hospital staff toward self‑sufficiency and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Medtronic field service engineers to prepare operating rooms for the system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operating rooms or surgical procedures.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel >75% across Israel, including the far north.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HUGO™ RAS‑system and robotic surgery workflows.
• Experience with surgeon and staff training in medical technology.
• Ability to apply change‑management techniques in clinical settings.
