Motion & Control Supplier Engineer

About the role

The Motion & Control Supplier Engineer will lead the quality domain for Applied Materials' cutting‑edge suppliers within the Engineering department. You will work closely with R&D, supply chain, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth production of highly complex modules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of supplier non‑conformances from initiation to resolution and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze quality trends, provide intelligence to management and set up remedial actions.
• Represent engineering in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, performing risk evaluations and disposition recommendations.
• Monitor and report non‑conformances related to production lines, coordinating activities with R&D and suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to achieve continuous improvement in product quality, first‑pass yield, SPC and 8D processes.

Required profile

• BSc in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100 standards.
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Experience with root‑cause analysis, 8D problem‑solving, SPC and MRB processes.
• Certified Quality Engineer or Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
