Business Unit Financial Controller – Ra'anana

About the role

abra is seeking a Business Unit Financial Controller to join its Finance team in Ra'anana. This full‑time, on‑site position combines financial expertise, strategic analysis, and hands‑on execution, offering close exposure to senior management and key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the business unit.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights for strategic and operational decisions.
• Build financial models, business cases and management analyses.
• Own controllership activities including monthly/quarterly closing, reporting, controls and analysis.
• Lead cross‑functional finance projects and drive process improvements.
• Identify automation, data‑driven processes and AI opportunities within Finance.
• Collaborate with senior management, external auditors and advisors.

Required profile

• CPA certification (mandatory).
• Significant experience either in a Big 4 firm (Senior Associate or Manager level) or as a Financial Controller in a public/global technology company (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS).
• Proven ability to own complex financial processes and work directly with senior finance stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical mindset with excellent English communication skills.
