Tax Assistant – Support Tax Sub‑Department

About the role

Vishay is looking for a motivated individual to support the Tax Sub‑Department Supervisor in its daily operations at the Petach Tikva headquarters. The role involves handling tax accruals, preparing reports, and liaising with auditors and customs authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax accruals for current and deferred taxes.
• Compile annual local financial statements and tax reports/forms.
• Coordinate with tax auditors and produce requested reports.
• Submit annual reports to Customs Authorities and manage tax authorizations.
• Generate statistical and analytical reports on tax‑related movements.
• Keep team members updated on tax law changes and regulatory updates.

Required profile

• Certified Bookkeeper, Tax Consultant, or at least a Type 3 Bookkeeper.
• Knowledge of Israeli statutory accounting policies and tax laws.
• Fluent in Hebrew with good proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience interacting with various internal personnel.
