SIG & COM Quality Inspector

About the role

Alstom is seeking a SIG & COM Quality Inspector to ensure construction quality compliance with customer and internal specifications. The role involves inspecting parts, products and installations, supporting the Zero Defect program and reporting defects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections and verify product compliance after rework according to PICO/ITP Quality Installation Procedure.
• Record inspection results using digital tools.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and support the quality team through problem‑solving until closure.
• Qualify construction teams on self‑inspection and manage construction inspection checklists.
• Conduct destructive and non‑destructive examinations and ensure collection of samples for laboratory testing.
• Provide accurate defect characterization and validate rework.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a technical field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of quality processes for civil/railway construction.
• Fluent in English; international mindset is a plus.
