Shipping Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Shipping Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end international shipments, primarily from China to global destinations. You will act as the central point of contact for customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and factories, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments with global customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and Chinese factories.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Monitor shipments, resolve delays, and address logistics challenges promptly.
• Maintain shipping schedules, Gantt charts, and ensure compliance with trade regulations, Incoterms, and retailer routing guides.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Support collections by following up on outstanding customer payments.
• Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to align logistics activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international shipping, especially China‑to‑global routes.
• Familiarity with major global retailers' routing guides and compliance requirements.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms.
• Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
