Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Flytrex is expanding its autonomous drone delivery network in the United States and is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its mechanical team in central Tel Aviv. You will lead the development of drones and sub‑assemblies, managing the full product lifecycle from concept through prototype testing.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex mechanical engineering and design initiatives for UAV systems.
• Lead the design lifecycle, creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and maintain production documentation, including assembly guides, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on physical prototyping and multidisciplinary projects.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues during prototype evaluation.
• Serve as a technical resource supporting routine operations and team objectives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 10+ years of experience in complex multidisciplinary system development.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Methodical approach to technical documentation and project presentation.
• Passion for lab experiments and hands‑on prototyping.
