Security Engineer – Cloud & AI Platform

About the role

Wiz is looking for a Security Engineer to help protect cloud and AI applications across its platform. You will work closely with product, R&D, and DevOps teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and ensure the resilience of our customers’ environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews with R&D and product teams.
• Drive vulnerability management, remediation, and security hardening using Infrastructure as Code.
• Write and maintain Terraform modules and security automation scripts in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Collaborate with software development and CI/CD teams to secure the product, pipelines, and production infrastructure.
• Influence the product roadmap by applying Wiz‑for‑Wiz assessments and monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in product security, cloud security engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Proven experience with AWS (or Azure/GCP), Kubernetes/EKS, and container infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, security groups) and IAM at scale.
• Experience writing IaC with Terraform and developing security scripts in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
