Product Architect

About the role

Vessel is redefining housing by treating each building as a repeatable product. As a Product Architect you will help shape this new generation of multifamily homes, blending architecture, engineering and industrial design to create homes that can be produced at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define the architectural language of Vessel’s housing products, including layouts, circulation, accessibility, materials, fixtures and finishes.
• Design solutions that can be replicated thousands of times while meeting resident needs.
• Observe and study how residents use existing Vessel homes and translate insights into product improvements.
• Research and evaluate new materials, components, technologies and spatial concepts.
• Collaborate with engineers to prototype, test and iterate design ideas.

Required profile

• Licensed architect with a strong interest in product‑focused design.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
• Willingness to challenge traditional architectural assumptions and iterate rapidly.
• Passion for understanding resident behavior and translating it into design decisions.
