Principal C++ Software Engineer – Enterprise Browser

About the role

Join Palo Alto Networks' Tel Aviv team to architect and develop the core of a Chromium‑based enterprise browser, driving security innovations for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own critical features from concept through deployment, shaping the browser’s security foundation.
• Tackle complex performance, multi‑threading and process challenges to ensure a smooth, secure user experience.
• Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and product quality.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional C++ development experience, especially in endpoint software.
• Proven ability to optimize performance and solve multi‑threaded or multi‑process problems.
• Strong debugging expertise across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Experience with Chromium internals and contributions to its codebase is a plus.
