DevOps Team Leader

About the role

Fireblocks, a leading digital‑asset infrastructure provider, is expanding its DevOps group. The team is responsible for core infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts and deployment pipelines. We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader to drive projects, mentor engineers and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable and aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, overseeing projects and daily tasks.
• Design, build and operate a highly secure, scalable platform.
• Define and document infrastructure best practices and self‑service capabilities for software engineering teams.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive manual processes, prioritising automation.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to improve system health and performance.
• Strategically design security‑focused infrastructure and respond to emerging threats.
• Stay hands‑on with implementation, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading a DevOps team.
• At least 5 years in a fast‑paced SaaS DevOps environment.
• 5 + years working with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
• 10 + years in high‑tech companies in DevOps, system administration or automation roles.
• Strong Linux, command‑line, Git and CI expertise.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex scalability and performance issues.
• Excellent communication skills in a collaborative setting.
