Plumber Lead – Construction Projects

About the role

The Plumber Lead will be based in Israel supporting the AFCAPV Program. Reporting to the Plumber Supervisor, this role oversees plumbing construction and maintenance activities for the PWD Projects Team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and plumbing codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on construction sites, assigning tasks, scheduling work and verifying progress.
• Conduct field surveys and initial assessments, preparing Bill of Materials, Work Breakdown Structure, labor estimates and technical drawings.
• Develop and review Job Safety Analyses, ensure adherence to SOPs, and monitor quality of workmanship.
• Validate personnel hours, control manpower costs and mentor junior staff.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain professional communication.

Required profile

• Approximately five years of combined experience in the plumbing trade.
• Eligibility for a Common Access Card (CAC) and a valid driver’s license (U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host‑nation license).
• Strong understanding of safety directives and plumbing code compliance.
• Ability to analyze problems, work collaboratively and exercise discretion.
