Microsoft 365 Security Senior Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Microsoft 365 Security Senior Consultant to help clients modernize their cloud cyber‑risk and endpoint security posture. You will work with the Microsoft security stack to improve compliance, visibility, and cloud‑based management across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client environments and design migration paths from legacy or third‑party tools to integrated Microsoft security solutions.
• Implement and configure Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, Purview and related services.
• Provide guidance on endpoint compliance, threat detection, and incident response.
• Collaborate with client technical teams to ensure successful delivery and knowledge transfer.
• Support ongoing optimization of Microsoft 365 security controls and policies.

Required profile

• High proficiency in English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, and client problem‑solving.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Strong background with Microsoft 365 enterprise services (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra ID).
• Experience with at least two of the following: SCCM, GPO policy migration, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud Apps, XDR, vulnerability management.
