Medical Advisor – Oncology

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Medical Advisor in Israel to advance its oncology portfolio. You will act as a trusted medical and scientific partner, providing clinical expertise and strategic insight across medical, commercial, regulatory, market access, and clinical research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a medical and scientific partner to the Brand Team and cross‑functional stakeholders, supporting ethical, patient‑focused decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the medical strategy and annual medical plan in line with global objectives.
• Provide accurate, balanced medical information, scientific guidance, and training to internal teams, including the sales force.
• Review promotional and training materials to ensure scientific accuracy, balance, and compliance.
• Support Regulatory Affairs and Market Access with relevant medical input.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and external oncology stakeholders.
• Represent AbbVie at scientific presentations, advisory boards, lectures, and medical events.
• Participate in scientific congresses and conferences to stay current with emerging data and standards of care.

Required profile

• Demonstrated medical and scientific expertise in oncology.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Ability to provide medical information, scientific guidance, and training to internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building credible relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
