Material Manager

About the role

Nova is looking for an experienced Material Manager to ensure reliable availability of production and repair materials, supporting manufacturing operations and customer delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Own material availability to meet weekly production and delivery commitments, maintaining on‑time delivery performance.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages and delivery risks proactively.
• Coordinate internal deliveries, manage inventory levels, and align system and physical stock.
• Translate demand and production plans into executable material plans, tracking supply status and gaps.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse and Engineering to close requests and dependencies.
• Prepare and improve planning and delivery reports, rolling forecasts and delivery tracking.
• Lead weekly operational, planning and delivery meetings and ensure action‑item closure.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements in material planning, inventory management and data quality.
• Support implementation of new tools, systems and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in material or production planning within a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
• Managerial experience leading planning, materials or supply‑chain teams.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration with production, purchasing and warehouse functions.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities to turn data into operational decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP.
