Field Operator – Autonomous Drone Systems

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Field Operator to run and monitor autonomous drone systems at customer warehouses across Israel. The role is operational and technical, requiring you to work evenings, nights and weekends according to scanning schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Operate autonomous drones on‑site and perform pre‑flight and post‑flight checks.
• Monitor system behavior during scans, download logs and validate telemetry.
• Identify and report malfunctions or abnormal behavior to the technical team.
• Assist with software version deployments, system testing and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Work independently while following defined procedures and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Technical orientation with a hands‑on mindset.
• Comfortable working with computers and technical equipment.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and accurately in the field.
• Good communication skills for clear reporting.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability for night and weekend shifts.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
• Ability to write and run simple scripts.
• Experience with drone, robotics or autonomous system operation (strong advantage).
