About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Logistics Subject Matter Expert to lead operational excellence and digital transformation within its logistics organization in Rehovot, Israel. The role combines hands‑on execution, process optimisation, project leadership and data‑driven decision making in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own logistics execution within the assigned sub‑domain, ensuring smooth, stable and efficient operations.
• Serve as the go‑to expert for collaborative performance and problem solving across functions.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
• Drive adoption of advanced tools, automation and AI‑based solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects as a PMO lead, from definition through execution.
• Translate data into actionable insights and measurable improvements.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, quality and support teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or operations.
• Proven success leading projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience in complex, high‑volume environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
• Full‑time onsite availability.
