Graduate Backend Software Engineer – UpNEXT Program

About the role

ERGO NEXT is launching UpNEXT, a hiring and training program for early‑career backend engineers. As a Graduate Backend Software Engineer you will join a modern, scalable backend stack, work on real customer problems and collaborate with product, design, data and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand pain points and rapidly iterate on solutions.
• Take ownership of features from design through coding to production, ensuring high quality and test coverage.
• Develop backend services using server‑side Kotlin and a robust CI/CD pipeline.
• Leverage modern AI frameworks and LLM integrations to improve engineering efficiency and add AI‑driven capabilities.
• Adapt quickly to changing requirements and evolving product road‑maps.

Required profile

• Strong academic background from a leading institution with a minimum GPA of 85 (transcript required).
• Quick learner with a strong drive to explore and master new technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
