Frontend Engineer

About the role

Act Security is seeking a Frontend Engineer to own the user‑facing experience of its cloud security platform. You will create fast, intuitive, and data‑dense interfaces that enable security teams to understand and act on complex cloud access information at a glance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a modern, responsive web application using React and TypeScript.
• Translate complex security and cloud data into clear, actionable UI/UX.
• Develop reusable component libraries and design systems that scale across the product.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready features.
• Optimize performance for large, data‑heavy views such as graphs, tables, and dashboards.
• Work with backend engineers to define clean, efficient APIs.
• Leverage AI tools in the daily workflow to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to improving the codebase, tooling, and engineering practices as the team grows.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript with a deep understanding of modern frontend architecture.
• Experience building complex, data‑heavy UIs (dashboards, visualizations, large tables).
• Strong sense of UI/UX and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with state management, testing, and performance optimization in large codebases.
• Proven ability to work closely with backend and design teams.
