Equipment Engineer – Semiconductor Test Lab

About the role

As an Equipment Engineer you will support the development of a next‑generation semiconductor platform at Annapurna Labs, part of Amazon Web Services. You will work in a highly technical test‑lab environment, providing expertise on a range of equipment and ensuring smooth operations for internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for engineering test‑lab equipment such as testers, handlers and Test Control Units (TCU).
• Remotely assist testing vendors in the Far East and troubleshoot issues.
• Write and maintain technical procedures for lab users.
• Deliver technical training to lab personnel.
• Design and develop electrical and mechanical lab jigs.
• Travel to vendor sites 3‑4 times per year for on‑site support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience working with test handlers and/or testers.

Required skills

• Test equipment handling (testers, handlers, TCU).
• Electrical design for lab fixtures.
• Mechanical design for lab jigs.
• Remote technical support.
• Technical documentation and training.
