Director of Finance – Hospitality

About the role

The Director of Finance will act as the strategic financial leader for a W Hotels property in Herzliya, Israel. You will shape and execute financial strategies that support the brand’s service vision while protecting and growing the property’s profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual operating budget, providing analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting sales against expenses, and producing accurate forecasts that enable proactive operational decisions.
• Implement robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets, improve profitability and ensure compliance with internal, external and regulatory audit requirements.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to the General Manager and executive committee, advising on cash flow, working capital and owner‑related financial matters.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability and high performance.
• Monitor tax obligations, ensure timely reporting, and oversee the preparation of financial statements in line with brand and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (or a master’s degree with relevant experience).
• Minimum 3 years of finance and accounting experience in the hospitality sector with an international or local hotel chain operating in Israel.
