Director - Corporate Development & M&A

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Corporate Development to own and drive our M&A and inorganic growth agenda across both B2B and B2C businesses. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the end‑to‑end M&A strategy, shaping the inorganic growth thesis and identifying target domains.
• Build and manage a proprietary pipeline of acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.
• Own the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, valuation, financial modeling, diligence, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
• Maintain relationships with bankers, advisors, and founders to ensure a warm, proprietary deal flow.
• Lead cross‑functional deal teams across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Tax, GTM, HR, and R&D.
• Partner with business owners to validate synergy assumptions and integration feasibility before signing.
• Oversee post‑merger integration (PMI) to ensure acquired businesses succeed post‑close.
• Champion AI‑first approaches to sourcing, diligence, and execution, driving faster and more efficient M&A processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting, preferably within technology, SaaS, or data/analytics.
• Proven track record of leading deals from origination through close and integration.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities combined with sound commercial judgment.
• Comfort operating at the executive level and influencing senior leadership.
