Senior Accountant

About the role

Fireblocks, a leading digital‑asset infrastructure provider, is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Israel. Reporting to the Accounting Director, you will own end‑to‑end accounting, financial reporting and statutory and tax compliance for the Israeli entity, working closely with the global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close under US GAAP, ensuring ledger integrity, balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals and flux analysis.
• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, from vendor onboarding to payment runs and AP‑to‑GL reconciliation.
• Oversee daily banking operations, cash positioning and support treasury activities.
• Prepare Israeli statutory financial statements, bridge to US GAAP and coordinate the external audit.
• Handle Israeli direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate tax returns, VAT reporting and withholding obligations.
• Maintain and improve finance systems such as NetSuite, Coupa and banking platforms, driving automation and AI‑based process enhancements.

Required profile

• Israeli CPA qualification.
• Big 4 audit experience, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• 3–5 years of post‑internship experience in a global SaaS or tech company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Israeli tax regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing fintech.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite (GL, AP, banking modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience applying AI tools for accounting automation.
• Practical understanding of US GAAP reporting.
• Competence in Israeli corporate tax, VAT and withholding compliance.
