Cloud System Administrator – AWS/GCP

About the role

Yael Group is seeking a skilled Cloud System Administrator to manage and optimise multi‑server, multi‑site production environments. You will work with both AWS and GCP cloud platforms while supporting Linux and Windows operating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer AWS and GCP cloud infrastructures.
• Maintain Linux and Windows servers, including updates and monitoring.
• Manage VMware virtualization: server provisioning, virtual environment upkeep, ESXi installations, vCenter upgrades, and support for over 50 virtual machines.
• Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP for at least 200 users.
• Handle Microsoft Exchange tasks such as CU/SU updates, mailbox management, and reporting.
• Travel as required and utilise a company‑provided vehicle.

Required profile

• Relevant education and 4+ years of system administration experience.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience managing AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP for a user base of 200+.
• Proven VMware expertise in environments with more than 50 VMs.
• MCSE, MCITP or MCSA certification or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of storage systems, backup solutions (e.g., Commvault), and scripting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Office 365 and Google Workspace.
