Assistant Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Finance Controller to join our international finance team. The role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, transfer pricing and internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare and file local tax returns, working with external tax advisors on corporate income tax, VAT and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies and studies.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls, evaluate processes for efficiency and support internal audits.
• Collaborate with local and regional finance teams on accounting, tax, compliance and reporting matters.
• Participate in finance transformation, process‑improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
