Therapeutic Specialist – Virology (Central Region)

About the role

Gilead Sciences is seeking a Therapeutic Specialist focused on virology to serve the Central region of Israel, covering Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The role combines scientific knowledge with sales expertise to promote Gilead’s antiviral products to healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Gilead’s virology portfolio to a defined customer base within the assigned territory.
• Utilise product and disease knowledge to educate and influence appropriate product use.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan, set targets and monitor progress.
• Prepare and manage budgets for customer contacts, speaker events and related expenses.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, state and federal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven interpersonal, relationship‑building, influencing and negotiating abilities.
• Working knowledge of virology therapeutic areas and relevant products.
• Awareness of industry trends and competitor activities.
• Ability to discuss product benefits, costs and overall plan objectives.
